Light a backflow cone and the smoke runs like liquid down the tower, spreading across the base rather than climbing. It works because the cone is hollowed through the middle and the cooled smoke is heavy enough to sink — which is also why ordinary incense cones will not produce the effect.
Same large mango wood carving as the Hamsa version, with the Ohm worked into the face instead. Twenty-two centimetres of carved wood means it does not disappear on a crowded shelf, and it still looks deliberate with nothing burning. Each piece is shaped by hand in India, and the grain runs differently through every one.
