A large orgonite pyramid, 70mm across the base and 5.5cm tall, with an angel figure cast into the clear resin above layers of gemstone chips, copper coils and metal filings. Orgonite is the modern resin-and-metal material developed in the 1990s from Wilhelm Reich's ideas about life energy, kept in crystal practice as a balancing and protective object, and the pyramid is its classic form, the shape that focuses and directs. The angel is the version bought by people who work with angelic guidance, who keep angel cards or burn the Seven Archangels incense, and the figure seen through the resin from the side is the point of the piece. It sits on a desk, a bedside or an altar and catches the light through its faces. Hand-cast in India in small batches with spiritual intent, so the angel, the chips and the copper sit a little differently in each pyramid, and the photograph shows the design rather than your piece.
Gemstone chips, copper and metal filings in crystal resin, angel figure. 7.5 x 7.5 x 5.5cm. From India.
