Rose halo aura is natural quartz bonded with a fine layer of metal that gives the points a warm pink sheen with gold at the edges, softer than the blue and green auras and closer to the colour of rose quartz with the light turned up. The finish is permanent and sits in the stone's surface. This medium piece, 5.5cm and just over a hundred grams, is a good first aura quartz: large enough to show the full colour play, small enough for a bedside or a dish of stones. Underneath it is real clear quartz with natural terminations, so no two pieces are identical. In crystal practice pink stones are associated with love and comfort, and rose aura is often given rather than bought for oneself.
