Palo santo essential oil, steam-distilled from the heartwood of Bursera graveolens in Peru, the same holy wood that is burned as sticks, caught in a bottle. The scent is the smoke without the smoke: sweet, resinous, a little like frankincense with a mint-and-citrus brightness on top, and because it is an oil it can go in a diffuser in rooms where nothing can be lit, or into a blend for the skin. This is the 50ml professional size, enough for months of daily diffusing or for a practitioner's blending bench. Palo santo oil is distilled only from naturally fallen wood, which is part of the cost and part of the point. Sold undiluted, for use in a burner, a diffuser or diluted into a carrier.
