Palo Santo Large Incense Sticks - Cinnamon

Large palo santo incense sticks with cinnamon, made in Peru from ground holy wood and the spice. Palo santo on its own is sweet and resinous, with a hint of mint and citrus; cinnamon warms it and pushes it towards the fireside, and the two sit naturally together because the wood already has a sweetness that the spice picks up. This is the winter blend, the one burned in December and on cold evenings, and the one that smells of baking rather than of a temple. The sticks are 20cm long and thick, 20g to the pack, with a burn time of more than an hour each, so one stick is an evening. Stand it in a wide holder or in sand. Palo santo is harvested from naturally fallen wood in Peru, and these sticks use the wood itself rather than a fragrance imitating it.
