They turn up on everything from temple doors to teacups across the Himalaya, and here they are pressed into the silver plated dish — sacred symbols of spiritual harmony and auspiciousness.

You get 10 aromatic ropes with it, hand-rolled from natural ingredients. Rope has no bamboo core, so it burns clean, resin and herb and nothing woody. Hook one over the stand, light the end, and the ash drops onto the dish instead of your furniture.
