Satya Ajaro is one of the smaller lines from the Bangalore house that makes Nag Champa. Ajaro is one of the lesser-known Satya scents, so it is the pack for someone who already burns Nag Champa and wants a change. Each 15g pack holds around fifteen hand-rolled sticks on bamboo, and each stick burns for about half an hour.
Satya rolls its incense by hand in India with a masala paste of resins, herbs and oils pressed onto the stick, so the smoke is thicker and the scent longer than a dipped stick. Light the tip, let it glow, blow out the flame and stand it in a holder on a heatproof surface.
A box of Ajaro beside a box of Nag Champa is the usual way to try it. The packaging is recyclable card.
