A 7 to 8cm selenite heart with a mandala engraved into one face, the pattern cut just deep enough to catch shadow, so it reads as a drawing in the stone rather than a print. The heart is carved from Moroccan selenite and polished, and because the stone is translucent the engraved lines show darker against the glow when light comes through from behind. At 60g it sits comfortably in a hand or a small dish, and the mandala makes it a meditation object as well as a decorative one: something to look at while breathing settles. Keep it dry; selenite dissolves in water. Selenite is the clearing stone in crystal practice, and the mandala is the oldest symbol of wholeness, so the two sit well together.
