The small hexagonal selenite bowl, 10cm across, carved from one block of Moroccan selenite with six straight sides, a polished dish and a raw outer edge. The hexagon is the shape of the selenite crystal itself, so the bowl looks grown rather than made, and the flat sides let several sit together on a shelf without wasted space. At 280g it is the lightest of the selenite bowls, easy to move between a desk and a bedside. It takes a small collection of tumbles, a ring, a pendulum, or a single palm stone. Keep it dry; selenite softens in water. In crystal practice selenite is the stone that clears other stones, so a small bowl like this is often the place a day's worn crystals go overnight.
