Cleanse a whole collection of stones overnight
The 15cm hexagonal selenite bowl, cut from a single piece of Moroccan selenite with six flat sides, a polished inner dish and a rough outer edge that shows the stone's fibrous grain. Four centimetres deep, it takes a whole handful of tumbles, a mala, or a crystal grid's centre stone with room to spare, and at 620g it is noticeably lighter than the round 15cm bowl, so it moves easily from altar to desk. The six sides sit flush against each other, so two or three bowls tile neatly on a shelf. Selenite is water-soluble, so it stays away from sinks and steam. In crystal practice it is the cleansing stone, and a bowl this size is the traditional place to rest a collection overnight.
