Selenite Spiral Unicorn Horn Tower - Small

The small selenite unicorn horn, 10cm tall, carved in a spiral that twists to a point. It is the size for a bedside, a desk or a child's shelf, and the spiral catches the light in a winding band, so it glows as it turns in the hand or sits by a window.

Selenite takes its name from Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon, and the way its milky fibres carry light explains why. It is a soft, translucent form of gypsum, so keep it dry and dust it with a cloth rather than washing it. In crystal practice it is the cleansing stone, linked with the crown chakra, and it is often used to clear other crystals placed beside it.

It makes a magical first crystal for a child, or a small gift for anyone who loves unicorns. The large 15cm horn is the statement version.

Selenite. 3.5 x 10cm. Weighs 210g. From Morocco.
