A rainbow moonstone sphere pendulum: a small polished ball of the milky white feldspar with a blue sheen that moves under the surface as it turns, hung on a silver-plated chain of about 170mm with a gemstone bead at the end to hold. Moonstone is the stone of intuition, the inner cycle and the feminine in crystal practice, the lunar stone, and a sphere of it is the pendulum for readers who follow the moon: used at the new moon for beginnings and the full moon for answers, over a dark cloth where the blue flash shows. A sphere swings in cleaner circles and lines than a point and is read by direction, which suits yes-and-no work and charts. Crystal dowsing is used for finding things, for healing and reiki work and for divination. Natural stone, so the sheen and the size vary a little from sphere to sphere. Made in India.
