A rose quartz sphere pendulum: a small polished ball of the soft pink stone, hung on a silver-plated chain of about 170mm with a gemstone bead at the end to hold. Rose quartz is the heart stone of crystal practice, read as love, compassion and self-kindness, so this is the sphere pendulum for questions of the heart and relationships, and the one most often bought as a gift because of its colour. A sphere swings in cleaner circles and lines than a point and is read by direction, which suits yes-and-no work and reading over a chart, and the cloudy pink ball is gentle to watch against a dark cloth.
