Teak that darkens and improves with years of handling
A slim healing wand of teak carved in a continuous twist from end to end, with copper wire wound into the groove of the spiral so the whole length is bound in metal, finished with an amethyst sphere at one end and silver-plated collars. At 23cm long and only 1cm thick it is closer to a baton than a club, and at 100g it balances in the fingers. Copper is the conductor of crystal practice, wound around the wood to carry and direct, and amethyst is the stone of calm and clear thought, so the wand is read as directed calm, which makes it the one chosen for meditation and for working over someone else. The spiral carving is done by hand in India, and the teak darkens with handling over the years. It is a wand with more craft in it than most, and the one bought as a present for a practitioner who already owns the stones.
Teak, copper wire, amethyst sphere, silver-plated collars. 23 x 1cm. Weighs 100g. From India.
