Sturdy legs and real weight for a meditation corner
A square soapstone oil burner with an elephant carved into each of its four sides, so it looks right from every angle on a table or a shelf. Natural soapstone has soft, earthy tones, and each burner shows its own veining and colour, which gives it a rustic, handmade look.
A tea light goes underneath and warms the dish on top, which takes essential oil on water or a wax melt. Soapstone holds heat well, so the dish stays warm and the scent keeps coming after the flame settles. Sturdy legs keep it stable, and at 438g it will not tip.
The elephant stands for strength and wisdom in India, where the burner is made, and it is a common housewarming gift there for that reason.
Soapstone. 10 x 7.5cm. Weighs 438g. From India.
