Tree of Life Oil Burner - Ivory

The ivory version of the Tree of Life oil burner: a classic ceramic lamp shape in a soft, warm off-white glaze with the tree pierced through its walls, so the candlelight from the tea light below draws the branches on the wall behind it. The bowl on top takes water with a few drops of fragrance oil, or a wax melt dropped in dry; the chamber beneath takes a standard tea light. Ivory is the colour for a living room, a pale kitchen or a wedding gift, where the blue would be too strong, and the glossy glaze cleans with a wipe while the dish is still warm. The Tree of Life is the symbol of growth, roots and connection across nearly every tradition. The burner is 11cm tall and 400g, steady on a side table or a windowsill. It is the sort of present that is still in use years later, and at this price it goes with a bottle of oil for a complete gift.

Glazed ceramic, ivory. 9 x 10 x 11cm. Weighs 400g.
