Orgonite

Orgonite pyramids, cones, pendants and pendulums, posted anywhere in the UK. Pendulums start at £7.50, pendants at £8.50, pyramids at £30.49, and the copper water wand tops the range at £60.99. A good first piece is the Orgonite Cone in selenite and black tourmaline at £29.49: 9cm of clear resin with copper threads set through it, with a base broad enough to sit still on a sill. Tracked UK delivery usually takes 3 to 7 working days. It costs £4.99, or free over £40.

Resin, metal and stone cast in layers: pyramids, cones, pendants, pendulums and trees. Orgonite is a modern material, developed in the 1990s from Wilhelm Reich's ideas about orgone energy, made by setting gemstone chips, copper coils and metal filings into clear resin and casting it into a shape. In crystal practice it is kept as a balancing and protective object, and it is also simply good to look at, with the stone layers and the glint of copper showing through the resin. The pendants are worn or hung in a car; the pyramids and cones sit on a desk or an altar; the pendulums are the heavy, slow-swinging kind that daily dowsers prefer. Everything here is hand-cast in India in small batches, so the layering differs from piece to piece and the photograph is a guide to the design.
