An Indian gemstone tree of 160 rose quartz chips hand-wired onto metal branches and mounted on a base of gemstone rock, 20.5cm tall and 300g. Rose quartz is the heart stone of crystal practice, read as love, comfort and self-kindness, and a pink tree is the gentlest object in the range, placed in a bedroom, a nursery or on the desk of someone who is hard on themselves; it is also the tree most often given, at weddings, engagements and to new mothers, because it needs no explaining. The branches bend gently so the canopy can be arranged, the base is a rough chunk of real mineral, and the tree is handmade in India from natural stone, so the shade of pink varies from blush to rose and the base from tree to tree.
