A Tree of Life pendant with a disc of sodalite held in its branches. Sodalite is deep blue veined with white, and in crystal practice it is read as the stone of clear speaking, wisdom and intuition, the one worn at the throat by teachers, students and anyone about to stand up and talk.
The tree is wire-worked in metal, roots at the bottom and branches at the top, so the stone shows through the gaps, and the pendant hangs on a suede cord that ties to any length. It arrives ready to wear, sits just below the collarbone at 3cm, and at 10g it is light enough to forget.
It is often mistaken for lapis lazuli but has white veins rather than gold flecks. Natural stone, so the depth of blue and the veining differ from pendant to pendant, and the one that arrives is yours alone.
